Iran 'Cold Sweat' to compete in Sweden

Iran feature 'Cold Sweat' has been scheduled to attend the 29th edition of Stockholm International Film Festival in Sweden.

Iran feature 'Cold Sweat' has been scheduled to attend the 29th edition of Stockholm International Film Festival in Sweden.

Soheil Beiraghi's film will go on screen at the main competition section of the festival.

The film focuses on women's rights. It shows a women's futsal team while one of the team members who is travel banned has to deal with a challenge at the airport.

The film bagged several nominations and awards at the 36th Fajr Film Festival including a Crystal Simorgh for the Best Actor in a Leading Role which went to Amir Jadidi and another Crystal Simorgh for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role to Sahar Dolatshahi.

Filmiran, an Iranian film company, is distributing the film.

The 29th edition of the annual gathering will kick off on November 7, 2018 in Sweden.

The Stockholm International Film Festival will wrap on November 18th.
